African Jade

Jade is referred to as the dream stone for its ability to help one access the non-physical spirit realms. Legend holds that jade is a protective stone, which protects its wearer against negative energies. These stones have a rich, deep green color that is touched with natural patterns of lighter green.

Rose Quartz

This form of jasper has a multitude of colors and patterns that make it very unusual and intriguing. Also known as leopard stone, this is a stone that was used by medieval mystics to connect with their animal powers. 

Rhodonite

Native to Oregon, rhodonite is an opaque gemstone with a beautiful display of cloudy deep rosy pink and lavender colors. Black veins called dendrites give this stone a unique marble character. Sometimes called the "the singer's stone," rhodonite is said to improve sound-sensitivity. Many also believe that rhodonite helps with the nervous system and to improve self-esteem. It has long been considered a symbol of strong-femininity.

Tiger-eye

Tigereye is a form of quartz with rich yellow and brown stripes, and a natural lacquered finish, resembling the eye of a cat. Soldiers of the Roman Empire wore it for protection in battle and ancient mystics believed it to be all-seeing. Though for centuries it was mined  for its alleged magical powers, tigereye made its gemstone debut in the 1800s, when it was considered very valuable, fetching several dollars per carat – an expensive price at the time. Since its introduction as a gemstone, tigereye has been a traditional gift between lovers to help tune in to each other’s psychic.

Unakite

This is a stone of many stones. Unakite is granite gemstone with a mix of other elements including red and pink feldspar, white and gray quartz, and epidote, a pistachio-colored gemstone. Named for the Unaka Mountains in the southeastern US where it was first discovered, Unakite is the balancing stone. It is said to bring a sense of calm and equilibrium, unifying the emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of existence. Unakite also is believed to help us to live in the present, not dwell on the past.

Riverstone

Creamy white, gray and light brown colors in random patterns give this stone its unique look. This stone's mystical powers are derived from its white color that symbolizes purity, cleanliness, truth and kindness. It is this white color that gives this stone its energy. Throughout history its "white light" was used to clear obstacles along life's path, make good choices for new beginnings and bring mental clarity. As a white gemstone, Riverstone is ruled by the Moon and are associated with sleep and psychic energy. They are often used for good fortune and protection after dark.

Rhyolite

The stone's mossy greens, browns and grays are reminiscent of a rainforest, hence its nickname – rainforest jasper. Rhyolite represents change, variety and progress. It is said to light the fire of creativity within the soul and help with self-realization, which is why it is often used to overcome writer’s/artist’s block and bring creative energies to life. Historically, it was used as a medicine to improve skin problems through gentle massage and placing it in bath/shower water. Lore also tells of its powers to balance the emotions, and increase self-respect and self-worth. Rhyolite occurs largely in the Western and Southwestern US.
